With more than 15 years of experience, she began her artistic career debuting as a soloist in works such as the "Coronation Mass" and "Requiem" by Mozart, "Requiem" by Cherubini, "Carmina Burana" by Carl Orff, "9th Symphony" by Beethoven and in Zarzuelas such as “La Corte del Faraón”, “La Leyenda del Beso” and “Los Gavilanes”. Graduated as a Professional Musician with an emphasis in lyrical singing from the EAFIT University (Colombia). She has been the winner of first place in the "International Singing Contest of the same University".

 

She has completed advanced studies in singing at the "Conservatori del Liceu" (Barcelona) and at the Reina Sofía School of Music (Madrid) in the "Alfredo Kraus" Singing Chair under the tutelage of tenor Ryland Davies. She has a Master's degree in the specialty of "Theater and Performing Arts" from the Complutense University of Madrid. She has received master classes with the sopranos Ana María Sánchez and Sondra Radvanovsky; the mezzo Angelika Kirchschlager and Teresa Berganza; the tenors Juan Diego Flórez and John Graham-Hall, the baritone Christopher Maltman and Maestro Ralf Gothóni.

 

In opera she has played Cherubino and Marcellina in "The Marriage of Figaro", Despina in "Così fan tutte", Annina in "La Traviata", Frasquita in the opera "Carmen", Suor Genovieffa in "Suor Angelica" and Juliet in the "Legends of Bécquer"; In addition to her debut as a protagonist in the city of Madrid and other important cities in Spain in zarzuelas: "La Revoltosa" in the role of "Maripepa", "Duquesa Carolina" in "Luisa Fernanda" in the Zarzuela Week at the Solana- Royal City; "Lota" in "La Corte de Pharaoh"; "Visit" in "El Bateo", "Rosario" in "La Chulapona", "La Roldán" in "El barbero de Sevilla", "María Jesús" in "The wedding of Luis Alonso", "Manuela" in "Agua, azucarillos and aguardiente” and “Ascensión” in “La del Manojo de rosas”.

She is part of the list of the "50 Latin American Creators in Madrid" of "Casa América" ​​as she stands out as a great representative of Colombian lyrical music around the world, thanks to her frank, powerful and brilliant voice that reflects her mestizo roots and her fluid, powerful, energetic and captivating acting and interpretive capacity.
